ShopBurial is an independent insurance agency based in Manchaca, Texas, focused on one thing: helping people in their 60s and 70s lock in coverage for funeral and final expenses without getting talked into something they don’t need.
Why we focus on burial coverage
Most life insurance ads talk about $500,000 or $1,000,000 policies. Those make sense if you’re in your 30s with a mortgage and small kids. They don’t make sense for most people aged 60-80, who really just need enough to cover a casket, a service, and the bills nobody talks about — without their kids having to pull money out of savings.
The average funeral runs about $8,000–$12,000. Burial-coverage policies (also called final expense insurance) are built for exactly that. Smaller plan, smaller monthly cost, simpler to qualify for — usually no medical exam, just a few health questions.
Who we are
ShopBurial is operated by Matthew Gratt, a licensed life insurance agent (NPN 21590619) with more than five years in the business and licenses in 14 states. We’re an independent agency — we don’t work for one carrier, we shop the market on your behalf and present what fits.
